Shipping Policy

  • All GLOBAL orders MUST ship to the card holder's address.
  • We are unable to ship to ITALY! Packages will not be accepted by the country.
  • We do not ship to Nigeria or Mylasia due to high fradulent activities. This can not be altered.
  • APO's must be shipped regular Priority Mail - Express is not an option.
 
Address changes are not allowed. *You have the option to ship to an alternate address during checkout.
  • Make sure you enter the correct ship-to address.
  • Any unauthorized changes directly with UPS will have a $10 fee!
  • If you made a mistake with your address contact us immediately and we will try to adjust before shipping. If it has already shipped you will be charged the $5 ($10+ for express packages!!) address change fee that UPS charges us. *Even an incorrect Zip code will be a $5 fee from UPS.
 
Free shipping: If you qualify for FREE shipping, it is sent UPS (*Or Priority mail - with NO insurance, if you have a PO box). We do this to ensure that you have full insurance coverage on your package. *If your package needs to be shipped Priority Mail (due to your address limitations) it will NOT come with insurance, and unfortunately if it is lost with the Postal Service, it can not be replaced.
 
Free shipping is only available in the continental United States. If your order totals $110 or more, the shopping cart will give you a free shipping option choice. You may choose this, or opt for a paid shipping method.
 
Out of stock item: There is the rare occasion when we are out of stock on a particular item. *Delays can happen with the Copper products since they are not manufactured by us. Generally the "cart" will show the item in red as out of stock when you go to add it to the cart, but there are times when you may not be aware during the checkout process. If we expect that the product will be in stock within 4 business days, we will hold your order and ship it (with your preferred method of shipping chosen during checkout) as soon as it comes in. If we do not have an approximate date of replenishment, or the delay is expected to be longer, you will be contacted via email with options.
 
Options: We can ship your full order when items are in stock at no additional charge, OR we can always ship everything in your order except the out of stock item and charge you a reduced shipping rate (less than the actual cost for us to ship it to you) for the remaining item. *For reference, many mail order companies charge a set shipping fee for each item in your order. You are only charged shipping on the items that are in stock. When you are shipped any "out of stock" items (which is quite often and can range over 2-4 shipments), you are charged shipping those those items as they leave. Since we are in stock 98% of the time, we feel it is not adventageous to charge you higher shipping fees (just in case we need to break things up into multiple packages due to outages). We feel it is more economical to just charge you a nominal fee to send out any "out of stock items". 

Cost of shipping: 
In regards to shipping, the prices start at a 1lb. package. There is no way to ship by the ounce.  Most of our products (or a group of products) will fall into this price range of 1lb. Two - three pounds is generally the top. UPS and USPS do not give discounts for packages under 1lb. In fact, generally speaking (if you were to look at a graph of prices) the higher lbs. the package is, the cheaper the rate*. *Not saying that fifteen pounds are cheaper than a 1lb. package, but the 15lb. rate will be a lower percentage than if you were to count out fifteen 1lb. packages. UPS and USPS have all raised their prices to accommodate the gas increases that continue to fall on our US economy, so the shipping costs continue to go up every few months. We wish it were different, but to give you a safe delivery method we have to go with what is out there.
 
Incorrect shipping choice: If you choose UPS, and your address is a p.o.box it can not be delivered. It will either come back to us, or will be delivered to any address they have on file for you at the time. **We TRY to find mistakes as they are run through, but CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for any incorrect shipping methods due to a wrong choice. Your address is automaticaly uploaded to UPS's site through our website. It is not hand processed and can easily be missed! If the package comes back to us you will be charged for the return shipping (UPS back to Platinum) AND the Priority shipping. Please choose correctly to save on time and money.

Please allow lead time for all deliveries. As hard as we try, it is not always possible to get your order out the day we receive it!

Returned packages A package returned returned to us will be refunded the total sale price - shipping/return shipping.

Signature requests A signature request is a $3 charge from UPS. If you request one, the charge will be added to your card.

 
Global Shipping!

Customs charges: We have no leverage regarding any types of tariffs or customs charges. These are charged to you by your country. **We can only adjust the amount of your declaration if you give us an alternate amount to declare. *You can give us an alternate amount in the "Special Instructions" section of the check-out cart. If there is not an alternate amount given to us in the check-out process, your package will be declared at full value. Unpaid customs charges through UPS that are not paid and are reverted back to Platinum Skin Care will be charged to your account.

Shipping options: Canada will be shipped UPS Standard Ground (4-7 days), Puerto Rico will be shipped Priority mail. All other countries will be shipped via Express Global (EMS), or UPS Expedited.
