Platinum Skin Care is the creation of Jennifer Tilney - Spa owner and cosmeceuticals manufacturer. Jennifer felt there were not enough highly active skin care products available to aid those with problem skin - a personal dilemma of her own. She teamed up with a pharmaceutical chemist to create her own line of professional skin care. The entire Platinum Skin Care product line is created specifically with Jennifer's strict requirements intact and specializes in problem skin areas like acne and acne scarring. All Platinum Skin Care Products are pH and % certified. They contain proper amounts of highly active ingredients to give your skin the added boost it needs to be clear, smooth and healthy.
Platinum Skin Care believes their skin care products are are unlike any other skin care products on the market. Their chemical peels are created in an FDA and EPA registered laboratory. Each peel acid percentage and pH level is certified. Peels are formulated using only reagent acids. These are the highest quality acids available. They use Ultrapure acid which has been refined to be a 99% pure solution. Since the acid is free of contaminates, it allows for a more comfortable peel for the skin. Another thing to note is the FREE ACID AVAILABILITY. This means that 30% of the solution is a true 30% (of 100% glycolic base) glycolic peel - not 30% of a 70% (standard base) solution. Platinum Skin Care adjusted peels are set at a 2.1 pH level unadjusted (unbuffered) peels are set at their natural pH level of 0.6. *The lower the pH the more aggressive and quickly the acid works.
