Properties
Our High-Octane Vitamin C Serum will help to protect your skin from UVA & UVB rays damaging effects. It will stimulate collagen production, improve skin's tone and texture, improve pigmentation issues and increase elasticity of the skin. Many studies have shown a daily application of Vitamin C to be extremely helpful in the control of acne! Apply in the a.m. after cleansing and toning.
No refrigeration needed with our Vitamin C Serum!
You do not need to refrigerate this product. It will retain its freshness up to 1 year under "normal conditions". Please keep in a dark cupboard and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
What Does Vitamin C Do?
Our Vitamin C Serum is a stable form of L-Ascorbic Acid. Since the amount of Vitamin C that penetrates into your skin is directly correlated with the acidity of the C, we have set ours appropriately low (2.5pH). You will find that our C Serum will deliver the maximum amount of vitamin into the skin with just a slight amount of irritation/tingling. Our serum will help to protect your skin from UVA & UVB rays damaging effects. *Ultraviolet light exposure depletes up to two-thirds of your skin's Vitamin C stores. These levels can not be re-obtained by ingestion of Vitamin C! They can only be reached with a topical application. Topical Vitamin C provides more than twenty times the amount of Vitamin C found in normal skin, so extremely high percentages are quite wasteful and will not be absorbed and utilized. A topical application should be around 10%.
Skin inflammation has been reported to be alleviated by topical use of Vitamin C on ultraviolet radiation-induced erythema. This same study also showed a protective effect on the inflammatory response when applied, even after sun exposure from ultraviolet sunburn.
Directions:
Apply directly over moisturizer once in the a.m.You may mix this product with others before application as well.

I did notice an improvement with this product. It does seem to even out skin tone and possibly firming benefits. Also,I think that it dries up bumps and potential break-outs before they swell and rupture the pore. The irritation is minimal and the product feels great on your skin. I love its silky, slightly powdery feel. I used up the bottle fairly quickly and will purchase again the next time there is a good discount offer.

I think it is a great product, however you can't get it out of the bottle. I have had to open it to get the serum out, which hopefully didn't effect the the way it works on my skin. I love the matte finish and my makeup goes on well afterwards. *** Platinum*** We are so sorry that you had troubles with the bottle. They are in airless pumps and sometimes you may need to pump it a bit to get the product moving. You must have had a faulty bottle - which can happen. Call us at once if you are having troubles and we will take care of it. Jennifer

I bought this product because I needed a replacement after Avon discontinued their Vit C Serum. This High Octane Serum is not like a regular serum - it does not go on heavy and thick. I love the powdery finish - very subtle. Best of all, it keeps the pimples away! **Platinum***I hope you see our new lower prices!!! This is very affordable now. ;)

I just finished the sample and am ordering the full size. I had grossly uneven skin and this is the main reason trying this product. I saw improvement even before I finished the sample. In addition to improving my skin tone, it helps control oiliness .My
skin looks and feels so much smoother.

This is good, but not as effective as Cellex-C vitamin C products, particularly the Cellex-C Advanced Skin Tightening Cream. I don't care for the powdery finish and would prefer a moisturizing serum or cream. Also, this is a little pricey for the size.
