What is Retinol and How Does it Work?
Retinol serum is necessary for the growth, maintenance and function of the skin. It also prevents premature aging of the skin. Retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A. It is enzymatically converted in the human skin to Retinoic Acid. Retinoic acid has direct effect on skin cells, and can adjust their metabolism toward a more youthful state. Retinol works by stimulating the body's production of collagen, (one of the key building blocks of skin). This rebuilding action can make wrinkles look less severe and reduce the appearance of splotchy-ness, age spots, and sun damage. Other popular Vitamin A treatments are RetinA tm which is mainly for Acne, and Renova tm which is for Aging skin.
Most Retinol Creams Do NOT WORK! .. Why?
Most retinol creams and serums are virtually useless? The main reason is that they do not deliver a significant enough amount of retinol into the skin's cells. Secondly, they can not get the retinol deep enough into the skin. We have solved this issue by formulating the retinol in a special delivery system. This system ensures stabilization of the molecule without oxidation, and enhances cutaneous absorption of Vitamin A through the epidermis. When Should You Use It?
Directions:Apply to clean skin every other night before bed. *You can increase up to each day as long as you are not irritated. You will notice a glossy film immediately after application, however the film will dissipate within minutes as product absorbs, and skin will have a soft, silky feel.

If your looking for acne to disappear then this products for you. I have had acne for 20 years, been using this product for 2 months and have one breakout. I have not noticed a decrease in pore size, but have noticed better skin tone. I have not noticed a decrease in wrinkles, actually they have gotten a little worse around eye, but I am ordering more today. ****Platinum comment. I am wondering if around the eye area you are just getting a bit dry. The retinol (as with RetinA) can cause dryness and peeling. I would really cut back on applying too much of the retinol on your eye area by either mixing it with another product, or just by applying it only a few times per week. You problem should definitely disappear then. ; ) Jennifer****
