ALQEMI Micro Infusion Full Tutorial Walkthrough

If you're looking into micro-infusions, you can stimulate collagen, even out discoloration, boost hydration, and revitalize texture and firmness. Let’s get started! Today, I’m going to demonstrate how to do a micro-infusion treatment using our Alchemy Suite. I’ll cover all the prep, the full treatment, aftercare, and some frequently asked questions.

First, is this safe for you? If you suffer from any skin conditions that could be negatively affected—like rosacea or are prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation—please do not perform needling. Speak with your dermatologist if you're unsure. At Platinum Skin Care, we always want you to have healthy skin in a state of regeneration. This can be supported with a good regimen: an acid cleanser, antioxidant moisturizer, SPF, and a nighttime retinoid. If you're already our customer, you're probably doing this—great job!

There's no mandatory prep needed before needling, but if you're using retinoids or stronger leave-on acids (like our Serum 15 or 30), stop use at least 3–4 days prior to treatment.

Can I numb my skin?

Yes, you can use 5% lidocaine or whatever you have. Wash, apply a thick layer, wait 20–30 minutes, then wipe it off and cleanse your face twice to remove all residue.

Once numb and clean, we’re ready to set up our micro-infusion tool. There are six tools in our Alchemy Suite. Take one out, open it, and select your serum. Some serum options include:

  • EXO EHR: Hyaluronic acid, epidermal growth factor, and Replexium. Great for elasticity and collagen.
  • EXO PDRN: PDRN, hyaluronic, collagen, beta glucan, and GHK—excellent for scarring, barrier repair, anti-aging, and cellular rejuvenation.
  • EXO A: Freeze-dried human adipose exosomes. Helps with wrinkles, inflammation, melanin regulation, and elasticity.

You can mix these elixirs or add other approved serums like Regenerate EGF, Nano Hyaluronic, or a few drops from the Dr. Platinum Potions collection. Avoid adding acids like Vitamin C into your mixture.

Here’s how to reconstitute our EXO A serum and mix it with EHR:

  1. Open both bottles by following the arrows and removing the protective guard.
  2. Pour the serum into the freeze-dried powder bottle.
  3. Shake until mixed—it's ready to use!

Pour your chosen serum into the device. Attach the needle head and let it sit upside down for 2 minutes so the needles saturate.

While it sits, prep your skin:

Pull hair back, double-cleanse your face, and sanitize your hands. Don’t stamp on eyelids or active breakouts.

Start needling in your chosen direction—left to right or center outward. Stay on the orbital bone near the eyes and hold the skin taut. Don’t press too hard—the device has a set depth.

Apply to any desired area—face, neck, décolleté. The device may take a couple of presses to get the serum flowing. Work with a 50% overlap: stamp, move over half the width, and stamp again. You should finish in about five minutes.

If the serum isn't flowing due to gravity, especially under the chin, use sanitized fingers to help spread it before stamping.

Once done, use the remaining serum in the device on your face to maximize benefits. Collagen production peaks on days 1 and 14. Don’t interrupt the process—wait 2–4 weeks before your next session.

Cap your tool, remove and dispose of the needle, and sanitize the tool for next time.

Aftercare:

  • Use calming products like PDRN, Emo Oil Essentials, Regenerate EGF, Nano Hyaluronic.
  • Red or infrared LED light therapy is okay.
  • Avoid retinoids and strong acids for 3+ days.
  • Don’t swim or use a steam room for 24 hours.
  • Avoid touching your face with dirty hands.

FAQs:

  • Can I alternate this with peels or lasers? Yes, but wait 2–4 weeks after micro-infusion before starting other treatments.
  • When will I see results? Be patient. You may notice an initial plumping, but real results take 30–60 days. Take photos monthly to track progress.
  • How many times can I go over my face? Two to three times. You can also spot-treat problem areas after a full face application.
  • How many treatments are in one kit? Six tools and six sterile needles—one per session. That’s six months of treatments if you do one per month.
  • What if I’m prone to cold sores? Use a prescription preventative 2–5 days before treatment.
  • Can I shave after treatment? Wait at least 5 days.
  • Can I needle areas with implants or injections? No, it may cause granulomas.
  • How long do the micro-channels stay open? Most close within 15 minutes. Apply aftercare products within this window.
  • How much product penetrates? Daily products get 2–7% penetration. With needling, it's 80%+.

Micro-infusion is simple, effective, and a great addition to your skincare journey. Reach out if you have any more questions!
