Platinum Eyes Restoration Therapy | Tips and Usage

I want to talk about WHY we love our Platinum Eyes Restoration Therapy so much.

The eyes are more sensitive than the rest of your face. The skin is thinner – and if you spend any time smiling – hopefully you do!! – then crows feet will be showing soon in the corners… if they aren’t already. Eyes are prone to swelling, dark circles fine lines, pigmentation and especially dryness. 

So why can’t you just use your facial moisturizer? Ah, that is the age old question isn’t it!

Yes, you DO need an eye cream. You need something that is specially formulated to NOT irritate your eyes, while giving you targeted treatments and more moisture than even the driest skin on your face needs. 

Eye creams are formulated with sensitivity in mind. Scents are removed, irritating ingredients are kept to a minimum level while targeted treatments and other non-irritating actives are in higher percentages. 

Since most people are dealing with at least two of the problems I mentioned, it was of the utmost importance that we create a very potent treatment for them. 

Introducing our Platinum Eyes Restoration Therapy. 

Platinum Eyes Restoration Therapy is a thick, ultra- smooth creamy balm. 

Now a cream is water based and a balm is oil based, but since you need both to hydrate properly – of course we have both in our therapy cream. 

Platinum Eyes can be used 2x per day to help hydrate the eye area, minimize fine lines, lighten pigmentation, lessen dark circles and minimize puffyness. We have several key ingredients in this product. I am going to highlight a few:

  1. ReguAge
  2. BeautifEye
  3. Antioxidants – Ubiquinone and Super Oxide Dismutase
  4. Ceramides 1, 3, and 6
  5. Squalane
  6. Retinol

ReguAge is a specialty mix of purified soy and rice peptides and yeast protein. It addresses dark circles and puffiness around the eye area while increasing microcirculation, reducing free radicals and improving collagen and elastin. 

BeautifEye is primarily used to lift the fold of the eyelid as it starts to droop. The fold height has been measured to be improved by up to 61% after a few weeks and up to 91% after 60 days. 

It is also used to help visibly smooth crow’s feet by reducing their volume up to 34% and to help fade dark circles up to 30%.

Antioxidants – Now antioxidants help to fill in missing electrons in the skin’s cells that were damaged by UV rays, smoking, oxygen and more. Ubiquinone is a powerful antioxidant that works specifically with the oil portion of your cells. While Super Oxide Dismutase is another powerful antioxidant that works on the water portion of the cells. Together they help to protect and repair the eye area. 

Ceramides – ceramides make up over 50% of our skin’s composition. They deeply hydrate, protect the skin’s barrier and are the glue that hold your cells together. As we age, our natural ceramides get depleted and it is extremely important that we replenish them. They work hand in hand with antioxidants, so we have ceramides 1, 3 and 6 in our cream.

Squalane – Our squalane is olive derived – not shark liver – so you can feel good using it. It is an extremely emollient ingredient which is a natural component of human skin’s sebum and absolutely perfect for the eye area

Retinol – Retinol is imperative for healthy collagen & elastin as well as for smoothing lines and minimizing skin discolorations. The issue though is that it can be irritating. We have made absolutely sure to keep it at a level which will not cause irritation in the eye area – except possibly for the most very sensitive types.

How do I use it? 

1. You will want to gently dab a very small amount of our eye cream over the entire eye area 2x per day.  

*I suggest just lightly touching the top of the cream and whatever is on your finger is most likely enough for both eyes. 

2. Most people tend to use their ring finger since it is the weakest and will put the least amount of pressure on the delicate eye skin. 

What else can I use with this? 

Eyelift Xpress can be applied and then Platinum Eyes Restoration Therapy on TOP to help with really problematic bags and circles. *We actually have a kit with both products for you. 

Dr. Platinum Potions Matrixyl Synthe’6 35% can be applied 2x per day with Platinum Eyes on TOP. 

Chemical peels such as TCA 7% can be used 1x per month to help stimulate tightening and the production of collagen and elastin in the eye area.
