Allergies or Reactions: 

We here at Platinum Skin Care cannot guarantee that you will not have an allergic reaction, or a negative reaction, to any of our products. Every individual has their own infinite triggers. Understand that it is up to you to do a spot test with any products that you are unsure of. We also have many sample/trial-sized items available for you to test before purchasing a larger size. Every product on the website also has a full ingredient list available for your viewing. If you have a known allergy, it is your responsibility to not purchase this item. Platinum Skin Care will not be held responsible for any outcomes of this nature. 

 

 

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and that will be notated on the product page. *emu oil.

We can not be held responsible for knowing if your country accepts skin care products/cosmetics in general.

You are accepting responsibility for this package and are acknowledging that you know that cosmetics can be imported to your country without issues. We cannot keep on top of hundreds of countries policies and updates regarding imports. Please do your due-diligence prior to purchasing. A quick online search can help you to determine things quickly.

Incorrect Address Entry: If you have entered the incorrect address (ie* forgot apartment number, gate codes, forgot part of numbers), you will be responsible for any reshipment costs once the item is returned to us, and any applicable fees that may arise from the return shipment back to Platinum Skin Care.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates  for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Delays that happen with the shipping company have no reflection on Platinum Skin Care. Once your package leaves our facility it is out of our hands - until it is in yours. Delays would be best handled directly with your local Postal Delivery Office (or Fedex) and your provided tracking number. You can always track your packages here.

 Customs Fees 

We have no control over import fees/customs fees that may arise if you are purchasing from outside the United States. No part of your order total will reflect any prepayments. We may be able to provide you with an estimate at checkout. This will be shown to you in your shipping total. It is not a guaranteed price. 

We can not change the price of your items/invoices to reflect different prices than our system is set to do so. 

REFUSAL TO PAY FOR YOUR CUSTOM/DUTY/TAX FEES.

Your refusal to accept your package and to pay your legal vat/custom/duty/tax fees does not absolve you from other fees. It is always best to pay the fees directly to the carrier. It is posted in our Terms and Conditions, Shipping and Return page, and during the checkout process itself, that you are responsible for the payment of these Fees.

If a carrier is requesting to ship us back your package becuase of your refusal to pay your taxes/fees/custom... then some specific rules will become valid. 

Rule 1. Carrier fees may arise that you will be responsible for paying, including, but not limited to: return shipping fees that could range 2-5x the original rate of shipment. $95 is an example price that was quoted within the past week as a return fee cost of a single, small packcage from DHL. We refused to pay this and the package was destroyed. 

Rule 2. When your package arrives back to us and is processed, all shipping fees, plus any return fees added on by the carrier, will be deducted from your return total. This could result in a very small return once all fees have been deducted or possibly no refund at all. 

Rule 3. We reserve the right to Refuse a return delivery! If excess payment (more than the cost of the order or more than original shipping, ex) is required to be paid on your behalf by Platinum Skin Care, before a package will be returned to us, we will decline to pay the fees. If we choose to do this, the package will be destroyed by the carrier, and you will not receive any refunds when this is completed. This will be a complete loss for you. 

Shipping times:  

Shipping times are estimated during the checkout process. All estimates are also listed on our Shipping & Returns page for your continued reference. They are not guaranteed. The day that you place your order is not generally the day that it will leave our facility and it does not count as day 1. Even express methods are not guaranteed to arrive exactly as noted. We provide estimated delivery dates during the checkout process. See these by your Carrier Options and pricing. *Days in Transit. 

 Refunds 

You will have 30 days from the delivery of your package to request a return in our Portal. Login to your Account, select an order and you may return there. 

Most products are available for a return. You will be able to choose between a Refund [- 15% Fee] or a Store Credit without a fee. We apologize, but shipping fees are non-refundable. This goes directly to the carrier for your shipment to be sent. If you are offered a return label to use, the exact cost will be deducted from your return total.

*If your shipment has been received, and you know that you do not wish to keep these (final sale) items, please do NOT open the shipping container. Mark RTS on the exterior of the box and hand back to the carrier. They will return it to us. USPS Mail you can put in your mailbox. If it is Fedex or UPS you may have to pay for a return label through a local office. 

 

New, Unused condition Only:

These items must be completely factory sealed [shrink wrapped] in unopened, resalable, pristine condition. We will require you to Upload a photo of the item prior to approval.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Once your package arrives to our building, our aim is to process that within one week. Once it has been accepted, you will be issued a refund, or a store credit will be processed. You will receive an email alerting you to the completion of the return. 

Wrong product received: 

If you received an incorrect product, please email: support@platinumskincare.com with a photo of the item received. You may also upload a photo in our Return Portal. Select wrong item received and be sure to have a photo to proceed. We will gladly get the correct product out to you and send you a return label for the incorrect one. We want to make this right! 

 

 

“The supplier affirms by fulfilling this order that it does not conduct or commission animal testing of any cosmetics and/or household products, including without limitation, ingredients or formulations of such products, supplied to Platinum Skin Care after January 26, 2016.”

Limitation of Liability
Platinum Skin Care Inc. shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Platinum Skin Care Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.


Typographical Errors
In the event that a Platinum Skin Care Inc. product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Platinum Skin Care Inc. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Platinum Skin Care Inc. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Platinum Skin Care Inc. shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.


Term; Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Platinum Skin Care Inc. without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

Miscellaneous
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of California, U.S.A., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of Platinum Skin Care Inc. products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of Platinum Skin Care Inc. products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. Platinum Skin Care Inc.'s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. Platinum Skin Care Inc. may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.


Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a Platinum Skin Care Inc. or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. You may not upload commercial content on the site or use the site to solicit others to join or become members of any other commercial online service or other organization.


Participation Disclaimer
Platinum Skin Care Inc. does not and cannot review all communications and materials posted to or created by users accessing the site, and is not in any manner responsible for the content of these communications and materials. You acknowledge that by providing you with the ability to view and distribute user-generated content on the site, Platinum Skin Care Inc. is merely acting as a passive conduit for such distribution and is not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any contents or activities on the site. However, Platinum Skin Care Inc. reserves the right to block or remove communications or materials that it determines to be (a) abusive, defamatory, or obscene, (b) fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading, (c) in violation of a copyright, trademark or; other intellectual property right of another or (d) offensive or otherwise unacceptable to Platinum Skin Care Inc. in its sole discretion.


Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Platinum Skin Care Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers (collectively the "Service Providers") from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the site using your Internet account.

In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, Platinum Skin Care Inc. may link to sites operated by third parties. However, even if the third party is affiliated with Platinum Skin Care Inc., Platinum Skin Care Inc. has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of Platinum Skin Care Inc.. These linked sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, Platinum Skin Care Inc. seeks to protect the integrity of its web site and the links placed upon it and therefore requests any feedback on not only its own site, but for sites it links to as well (including if a specific link does not work).


 CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS : Even though we are exempt per CA Health and safety code, section 25249.11(B) we have chosen to provide you with the standard California proposition 65 warnings. WARNING This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer. Our 10% Glycolic Cleanser and Glycolic & Lactic Bodywash contain the ingredient Coconut Oil (INCI: Cocamide DEA). This does NOT mean that our product contains the necessary amounts to even meet the minimums, but we are keeping you aware that this ingredient is ON the list. To keep in compliance of Prop 65, we will only ship this product to you knowing that you understand it IS on the list and that you still CHOOSE to have it shipped to you knowing this. By accepting our Policy you agree that you are: 1. Aware the ingredient is on the list. 2. Choose to have it sent to you after being made aware. Understand that we are going to be updating our formulation so this ingredient is not included in the future. Trichloroacetic acid II.A.2. HUMAN CARCINOGENICITY DATA None. There are no epidemiological studies of TCA carcinogenicity in humans. Read entire profile on .Gov website. There are no studies of TCA in humans. In animals, the scope of carcinogenicity testing has been limited. The only lifetime studies (104 weeks) are of TCA administered in drinking water to male F344/N rats and to male B6C3F1 mice. TCA did not induce tumors at any site in male rats (DeAngelo et al., 1997), but in mice TCA induced a statistically significant increase in hepatocellular adenomas and carcinomas at the high dose (0.5 g/L in drinking water) (DeAngelo et al., 2008).
