Tranexamic Acid + DNA Repair for Melasma, Dark Spots & PIH | EXO-SPOT

We're going to fix the problem that's causing the cascading event, so all that melanin keeps reproducing and spinning out.

So once we've fixed that and we're hitting it with all of the lightning agents and things like that, the skin's going to start turning over without that pigmentation.

Like, we're fixing it at the core, so we're going to reduce the need for melanin inhibitors altogether.

All right, we have a new product alert.

Exciting times here at Platinum Skin Care. All right, we are adding to our Alqemi line with this much-awaited product.

Yeah.

We've been talking about this on and off for a while now.

Yeah, we've mentioned it a few times.

A few times. Pigmentation is obviously a huge battle that a lot of people are dealing with, and it's a stubborn one.

It is, and so, like, we try to find exceptional ingredients to microinfuse into your skin, right? So obviously, key things we already have are epidermal growth factor, hyaluronic acid, and replexium, which is really good for collagen. And, obviously, this is already collagen-induction therapy.

So people come here a lot for wrinkles, trying to minimize and soften their lines and stuff, but it's not the only reason people come here. But so far, the ingredients we've had have been focused on that. Like, we have our EXO-PDRN, super good for anti-aging and problem skin, and the exosomes, which are also just absolutely amazing and can be added to any other serum.

And now we've had a lot of people, and I'm like, when I was thinking, I had to think long and hard about what else to add and what other ingredients are safe to needle into your skin? Why would you want to listen to your skin? The sheer act of needling is the benefit, right?

That's going to help your skin no matter what you needle into it. But we want to make it even more beneficial by adding some really good ingredients. The deeper we can get these ingredients, the more effective they are when needled into the skin.

Interesting. That’s awesome.

Yeah. So now we obviously deal with so many people who have hyperpigmentation. So I'm like, well, it only makes sense to needle some pigmentation ingredients into the skin.

So we have our EXO-SPOT, and this has some insane ingredients in it, really good. So highly awaited by a lot of people, always wanting tranexamic acid, super for hyperpigmentation.

Also in here, glutathione, which people do injections for glutathione all the time. Alpha-Lipoic, which is an antioxidant, and niacinamide, which is known for pigmentation.

Let's go to the kakadu plum, which is a form of vitamin C, because you have to be careful with vitamin C. You don't want to needle L-ascorbic or anything like that into your skin.

So this is like a different form of vitamin C. And it's in here at a light, light level, because everything has to be safe. You can't be putting heavy percentages of these kinds of ingredients and needling them into your skin. That would be very dangerous. So we always need to be safe with this.

Also, the DNA repair enzymes are really amazing. So we have two in here. We have the Micrococcus Lysate, and then the Arabidopsis Thaliana. So those are the two that are naturally found in our bodies.

And these are the ones that when you get them in, well, on your skin, in your skin, they're going to work for about another 12 hours, and they're going to be able to fix that.

It's between 50% and 75% of the damage in your skin's DNA. And when you think about your DNA, there's only one thing that can heal your DNA, and that's DNA repair enzymes.

That's why we're adding these to all our serums. So you're going to see it rolling out across the PDRN, EXO-SPOT, and EHR.

This one will come later because we have more stock. We're not going to put it in the exosomes because those are pure exosomes that you can add to either of our serums. So you're always going to get the DNA repair enzymes.

So when you're mixing those, you're still getting it.

You're going to end up with that anyway. But these are going to be so helpful because if you can repair the DNA, let's think about hyperpigmentation.

And we've kind of talked about this a little bit in the Cell Intel video about how pigmentation is so problematic. Like, we're using our melanin inhibitors to sort of turn down melanin production, which causes your skin to discolor, but it's going to keep doing that.

It's like a constant battle. We're like, ‘Turn down,’ but your DNA is broken. And it's like, ‘No, I got to shade myself, make more.’ So it's pumping out more, and we're saying, ‘Turn down,’ and it's pumping out more.

So what is the key? The key is to fix the problem, right? So if we can fix the DNA, we're getting these repair enzymes right down there into the DNA. We're going to correct the problem that's causing the cascading event, so all that melanin keeps reproducing and spitting itself out.

So once we've fixed that and we're hitting it with all of the lightening agents and things like that, the skin's going to start turning over without that pigmentation.

Like we're fixing it at the core, so we're going to reduce the need for melanin inhibitors even further. Hopefully, it'll be a cycle you can break and cut back on a little.

Like, still, if you're like super prone for pigmentation or you spend a lot of time in the sun, things like that, you're always going to want to use a melanin inhibitor for sure. Because you don't want those problems, we're going to fix them at the source.

Right.

And then you might not have to be so aggressive every day. You might only have to use maybe an inhibitor a few times a week or something like that.

Like save your dollars and not have to buy Fade Bright so much.

Question. So, if someone is struggling with pigmentation and wants to start with this EXO-SPOT, should they isolate the microneedling to just the pigmented areas at first?

No.

No. Okay. Because first I was thinking yes, but then as you were talking, I was thinking, well, no, you would want that all over then.

Yeah.

Or should they go over that pigmented area more times?

That's a good question. Like, I don't want to fill up your needling and only go over the areas of spotting. I recommend going everywhere.

Okay.

That's not a problem, but let's say, okay, could you?

Yeah.

You could. You could open this bottle if you wanted, and like, ‘Oh, I only have a couple of areas of spotting here and here.’ If you wanted, you could put a very small amount into your needling tool and needle that area.

And then let's say, well, I want to go over the rest of it with PDRN or whatever. Could you do that? I think you could.

So you could spot treat, maybe just an area with that. And then if you want, let's say we're doing the EHR serum or one of the other mixtures, then you could go all over the face.

You could. And I know that's good because some people will probably want to do that.

Yeah.

And you can, I would still do this all over personally.

Right.

Or I would mix it with my other one. Like I would mix this with my PDRN and my exosomes, and I would make a lovely concoction, and then I would needle that all everywhere. It's not going to harm anything.

These ingredients aren't going to hurt you. The tranexamic acid and the glutathione and all that, it's not going to cause white spots in your skin or anything like that. You don't need to worry about things like that, but you could if you wanted to.

Is it a preventative to help combat future pigmentation? Like, if you are using it all over the face?

Well, I think the DNA repair enzymes are what's really going to help to prevent future hyperpigmentation, in all honesty, as we're fixing that at the core.

Could you explain a bit more about tranexamic acid? Is that a melanin inhibitor?

It is, and it helps to lighten. So yes, it's highly used at higher percentages and similar levels.

Okay.

I think there are many prescriptions for tranexamic acid.

I know you can take it orally as well as topically. I've heard those ways, like talking to people.

Yeah, like the people that have really, really bad hyperpigmentation or melasma and things like that. It's just, it's not going anywhere.

Then you can take the oral form, which is a prescription, of course, but yeah, it's known to be very good.

If you are prone to pigmentation, this is definitely something you want to add to your regimen.

Yeah. But as much as we're helping with this, if you have melasma, the core of the problem is hormonal.

Okay.

So hormones are playing a big part. The pigmentation that this can help protect against is UV damage, or sun damage.

So it can help everybody. It can help with melasma, but it's not a cure, since melasma stems from multiple causes. It's not just UV damage. It's also other problems.

Okay. I'm thinking of questions that I can foresee.

Yeah. What questions are coming? We'll see.

Can they mix that with Fade Bright? Can they add that to a serum if they want to use it daily?

You could, but the actives aren't at a high enough percentage to warrant diluting them into something else. Cause it would become very diluted. I think this is something that we want to focus on and needle into the skin.

If let's say you've got a little bit left over in your bottle and you know, you don't want it to go bad, you could pour it into your Fade Bright bottle or something. That's not a problem.

Or keep it and doubt any pigment you may have for, like, three days or whatever you have left.

Absolutely. The whole point is that these are safe injections into the skin because they contain no preservatives.

So if you have leftovers, you're really going to want to like, take a Fade Bright or something, add a couple of pumps in there to stabilize it, add those preservatives, or you could take your leftover, this critical to another bottle, whether it's Regenerate, nano hyaluronic, whatever you want, you could use it up that way.

Right.

I generally put it on your face as you're done needling, whatever you want to get into your skin, like before 15 minutes, like get about a 15-minute window before those holes are closed.

Got it.

And we want to make sure to get any leftovers that you can in there at that point. But if you're just wanting to do a little spot treatment, you're only using half of it.

Right.

Yeah. You don't want to let this go bad. So either add something to it or add it to something else. So you at least get use from this product.

So even though that has some DNA enzymes, after they're done needling, if they want to apply Cell Intel 30 minutes later or something, that's okay as well.

Yeah, you could. And so, like I was saying, this has three of the DNA repair enzymes. This one also has plankton extract, because it is like a product you're going to put on during the day, walk outside, and then the sunlight will activate it.

Or even inside your house, if the light's coming through your window, it's going to activate the plankton. I didn't put the plankton in here because I feel like you don't want to go into the sun after you've done needling. You're going to be in your house, probably, or you're going to get ready to go to bed.

It wasn't necessarily beneficial to include plankton extract here, but it is undoubtedly in Cell Intel because this is like an everyday product. This is just like a specific treatment.

Another question on the body. They can use this on the body, including the hands, for age spots.

Arms.

Arms, that sort of thing. I think I know your answer to this, but I have to ask: will it at all help with any hypo-pigmentation or even out skin tone?

I don't think so.

Okay.

I don't think so. That's generally where your melanocytes are totally damaged.

Yeah.

And I would have to do a bit more research, since I don't even know…

If the DNA enzymes could help with that.

You're wondering, right?

That kind of spawns that question.

Yeah. That's going to spur a bit of research on my end because that is like permanent damage that's been done, usually from something quite aggressive.

But are the melanocytes connected with this DNA?

Yeah. Could that help?

We're getting into some science here, but…

Yeah. We're going to do some like ChatGPT here and see if we can find that. But yeah, you never know, it could potentially help because hypo pigmentation, that's where your body has stopped making it. It's like literally the melanocytes are dead. They're not making any pigment anymore.

Got it.

As with all of them.

After you use it.

After you've used it.

A little bit remains because there is no preservative. You would need to keep it refrigerated for only 2 or 3 days?

If you want to keep it so the ingredients are okay, needling. I'm just going to read it right off the box.

There we go.

Because it's all on here, opened bottle, do not refrigerate. You don't have to refrigerate it.

Okay. Good to know.

You definitely want to use it within 48 hours, or mix it into a preservative-containing serum.

Now, this will last for two months without refrigeration or up to three months with refrigeration.

If you do mix it into, say, Regenerate, you do not need to refrigerate that mixture.

If you're going to use your product up within two months, you don't have to refrigerate it.

If you know you only use a pump every other day and could have this for 4 or 5 months, I would refrigerate it. This is going to last longer. I try to put everything, I try to cram everything I can into that little refrigerator. I love that.

We have the cutest little beauty refrigerators if you have not.

We'll have one up here and set it on our little table there.

It's so cute. It has a little, it has touch light in front.

The mirror and the little Platinum logo.

Yeah, it's very, very cute.

It's a cute one, and I use it all the time.

And very effective.

Yeah. I put all of my stuff in there. I have some of this in there. I have some of this in there. I like it cold. I don't know why.

It's exciting.

It's great.

Well, especially after a chemical peel or something, too, like if you put on your emu oil or something when it's nice and cold, it's very soothing.

Yes, it would be.

Yeah, absolutely.

Yeah.

Perfect. Well, if you have any other questions regarding EXO-SPOT or any of our products, feel free to reach out to us at 1-800-917-3155.

Right. And you can email support@platinumskincare.com or visit our Facebook page, Platinum Skin Care Gurus. That's our group, actually.

Yeah.

And there are almost 42,000 people in there.

That’s amazing.

There are a lot of people. There's a lot of activity. There are a lot of photographs, before, after, during, and questions.

Pinned posts are very crucial.

Pinned posts are the best single question that you have ever asked.

Yeah.

It's all there in the pinned posts and the guides in your emails.

And you can search too. There's a little search box in there where you can search the actual group page.

Yeah. And there's a lot. Oh, there's a lot of talk about the Alqemi line in there and what people are doing and what they're using and how they're mixing it and the kind of results they're getting.

Right.

Someone just said the other day that they went, but I forgot where she got her hair done.

Sure.

And she was just saying, like, the girl was like, ‘What did you do to your face?’ And she's like, ‘Oh my gosh, I don't know. Like, like I'm just my everyday skincare products and this and that.’ And she's just like, everywhere you go, people are noticing.

Yeah.

And it just takes a little while. I want to say, like, a good five, six months, someone you see pretty regularly, like someone you get your hair done every two months or something.

They might not have noticed the first time, but then the next time they see you, and it's been like 12 weeks, they're like, ‘What are you doing? What did you do?’ You know, like it's such significant changes, but you'll see that because people talk about that all the time in the group. Like I love hearing stories like that. That's just the best.

That is the best. Those are remarkable stories. I love that too.

Yeah. All right. Well, thanks so much for joining us.
