Applying Self Tanner with Professional Skin Care Products

Applying self tanner with skin care |rules to follow

We get so many questions on applying self tanner that you would think we actually make it. But no, we make skin care products. The products WE make are very strong and professional like Retinoids and chemical peels. When you use products like these, your skin is generally pretty pale since they are constantly causing exfoliation and regeneration in the skin.

This isn't a bad thing at all and many people love it. But in the summer time, even the strictest of us will long for a bronze glow when we see all the tans walking around looking so "healthy". Since there are very healthy ways to have your skin look like you actually spent a few hours out in the sun ... let's get to it!

So, the big question is WHEN to apply your self tanner.

First, make sure the tanner you are using is meant for your face! Some could clog pores, so you want to be sure it is safe - especially if you have acne prone skin.

Then, find out if your tanner is meant to be mixed INTO your skin care products or if it must be applied as a stand alone. I prefer a mix in product myself since you can continue applying all of your great products without missing any evenings. But, if you are using a stand alone, that isn't a problem either. Just skip your evening products when applying.

Watch our video for other hints on tanning your face, body and other topical bronzers.

Enjoy and let us know if you have any questions.
