About COTZ SPF 40 Sensitive
Cotz SENSITIVE SPF 40 - For Special Skin Types!
3.5oz. (100ml)
It can be hard to find a sunblock that will work for you when you have sensitive skin. Applying even the most basic SPF protection can cause intense burning, making it difficult to do the right thing every day. Even if you have just had a laser treatment or chemical peel, or if you have Rosacea, Eczema, Lupus, Psoriasis or Acne, you can wear this Sensitive sunblock.
- 100% Free of chemical sunscreens
- 100% Free of oils
- 100% Free of fragrances
- 100% Free of preservatives
- 100% Non-comedogenic - won't clog pores.
- Will not sting eyes!
This Cotz SPF is Dermatologist Recommended. Comprised of extra gentle transparent Zinc Oxide to soothe and protect sensitive and easily irritated skin. Easily blends to be translucent on your skin. Zinc Oxide is a physical sun block. Meaning that it protects the skin by reflecting the UVA and UVB rays like millions of tiny mirrors on the skin. Since it is free of chemicals (which can absorb rays and cause heating of the skin), your skin will remain protected and cool.
Are you confused as to when to apply your SPF because you are using face creams and serums? No worries:
- Wash your face.
- Apply any toners or serums and creams.
- Now apply your protective SPF.
Are you doing peels or using retinol, glycolic or any other acids? Then your need for sunblock has just doubled! Every day is the day for SPF. Protection is your #1 defense against aging skin and skin cancers.
HOW MUCH SHOULD YOU APPLY TO GET THE CORRECT SPF COVERAGE?
SPF isn't going to give you the protection that is specifies on the tube unless you are applying enough of the cream to get the coverage you need! Do not skimp on this. Most will end up applying more than they "think" they need!
For your face/neck/tops of ears, a 1/4 tsp of cream will give you the coverage and proper SPF. If you have a larger face/forehead then apply more. *upwards of a 1/2 tsp.
Grab a 1/4 tsp and fill it with your SPF the first time. See how big that dollup is and apply it. Remember that and always use the same amount.
Another great trick to measure is the Finger method. Run a line of sunscreen the entire length of your Middle Finger. = That is a correct amount of coverage. *Do you also have to cover your head? If so, make that 2 fingers worth of product.
DIRECTIONS
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply:
- After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating
- Immediately after towel drying
- At least every 2 hours
Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor
