About 7% GHK-CU ACCELERANT

Dr. Loren Pickart, 7% GHK-CU ACCELERANT- Extra Strength Booster. Level Strongest.

Dr. Pickart harnesses his GHK-Copper complex for a sumptuous and intensive formula to restore your skin's natural smoothness, radiance, and resilience.

 **See all studies/citations Here

You will find GHK to be gentler than the copper peptides we have carried for years. It is more gentle, but that does not mean that it doesn't work as well. This is actually the strongest copper product that Dr. Pickart creates. In his level chart of 1-28, this rates in at a 36!

When we say Extra Strength - we mean it!

Notice - there is natural sediment in the product. This is normal. You may actually SEE the copper sediment floating around in your bottle. This is perfectly normal. There is nothing wrong with the product because of this. It is natural.

This amazing booster product is meant to be added into ANY other product* that you use daily to give it a copper peptide KICK! We highly suggest adding your GHK to a serum so it can be applied first. A cream will have a slower absorption in your skin. Our Nano Hyaluronic is not only transermal *(penetrates very deep into the skin) it is also a great water source for your skin.

How many drops are in the GHK-7 Accelerant?

There are about 400 drops in the 15ml bottle. Each drop will give about 3.3mg of the peptide. You will receive 1 gram (1000 mg) of GHK-7 in this bottle *mixed in an aqueous solution. We have made it very easy for you to figure out how many drops you need to add into your favorite creams and serums to get exactly what you would like. *There are a few exceptions though for use, so keep reading.

For reference:

GHK Luxe Eye = 2% GHK

GHK Crepey Skin Escape = 3% GHK.  *This is technically for the body.

**Feel free to start with LESS DROPS of the peptide if you have more sensitive skin. Then, you may build up to these percentages as you move forward with your skin regeneration. Another option would be to create one of the stronger percentages in our chart, but only use this every other day or every third day until your skin feels comfortable.

*EXCEPTIONS:

  • Do not add GHK-7 to Vitamin C products.
  • Do not add GHK-7 to, or apply it at the same exact time as hydroxy acids. *Use the second generation copper if you need to do that. CP Serum, Super CP Serum or SuperCop 2x, or simply apply them at different times of day.
  • Do not add GHK-7 to VIP Lux Eye Cream.
  • Do not add GHK-7 into Zinc SPF creams.

All other products will work fine. You must dilute the GHK-7 before use.

A common question is: This states that you cannot Directly add GHK to a Zinc product. But, can you still apply your GHK product at the same time as another product that has zinc in it? So, we reached out to Dr. Pickart and here is his answer:

Here are a few thoughts from Dr. Pickart on this:

The issue with zinc oxide sunscreens is that if the zinc oxide breaks down it can release zinc ions which could interfere with the actions of the copper ions.
If the zinc oxide is going to block copper, it might also block skin rejuvenation.

He recommends that the best solution would be to just use the copper-peptide product at another time of day. For example, use your copper-peptide product in the evening and your zinc oxide product in the morning.
He has also recommended that you could apply a barrier (i.e. Emu Oil) between the copper peptide product and zinc oxide product. This may help.

And, thank you so much for that!

Warnings:

  • Beware of Imitations. Dr. Pickart holdS the patent on GHK and 2nd generation copper peptides.  He has tested knock-off brands and found them to be lacking and the percentage to be incorrectly stated for marketing purposes.
  • Do not apply to sensitive skin types or apply very sparingly (highly diluted) to avoid excess irritation. Use every other day or every 3rd day if necessary.
  • This is a natural product. There are tiny, dark blue particles floating around in the mixture. These are perfectly normal pieces of sediment. Just brush off skin after applying with hands.

The beauty of Super GHK-Copper is that it is both soothing and intense. GHK-Copper products were inspired by groundbreaking research and are designed especially for those starting out with copper-peptides, or who have sensitive skin, or for sensitive skin areas (i.e. around the eye area and neck).

We want you to understand how amazing copper is - not just for wrinkles. How about malignant melanoma cancer? Read this patent over and see how GHK suppresses cancer genes

GHK-Copper markedly improves skin's complexion, reduces appearance of wrinkles and helps restore a lifted and youthful look.

Notice - there is natural sediment in the product. This is normal.  ***IMPORTANT COPPER TIP*** - Less is More! Overuse of copper will bring too much breaking down (of damaged skin tissues) without fast enough regeneration.

Copper peptides utilize the skin's biochemical systems that remove the old, hard cells and damaged proteins and replace them with new skin and new proteins. Copper Peptide's work best on mature skin and show results within one to three months.

Copper peptides help to actively:

  • Reduce facial wrinkles
  • Tighten facial skin
  • Provide a lifted appearance
  • Increases Long, thick, visible hairs on the skin. Result: Better hair on head, eyebrows and eyelashes. SRCP's increase follicle size, but vellus follicles (fine, short hairs on body) are not changed. The use of SRCP facial products does NOT results in increased facial hair. [8] We have found through Dr. Pickart that a 1% to a 3% maximum of GHK will be used for hair growth. Please do not exceed 3% or the scalp could become red and irritated.

All without the need for an expensive face lift. Remodeling is the key to regenerating tight, lifted, wrinkle free skin that will replace cosmetic and plastic surgery. Dr. Pickart's patented copper peptides ALTERNATED with hydroxy acids, and other anti-aging ingredients work amazingly well to amplify the removal of wrinkles while providing a lifted tightened complexion.

Copper peptides are an amazing second step to the chemical peel process often used to improve aging skin and scarred skin. An acid is used to create a controlled burn on the skin. This in turn causes the skin to regenerate itself - thus improving the overall quality of the skin. To aid the skin renewal process, this stage of skin damage is often followed by the use of skin regeneration accelerators, such as a copper peptide, to accelerate healing and regeneration.

Dr. Pickart has a scale of strength of his coppers. It ranges from 1-28. Below lists the scale number.

  1. CP Serum- mildest strength serum  3 Strength
  2. Super CP Serum - medium strength serum  8 Strength
  3. GHK Luxe Eye Cream 10.4 Strength
  4. GHK-CU Crepey Skin Escape 15.6 Strength
  5. Super Cop 2x- strongest strength cream  28 Strength
  6. GHK 7% Accelerant  36 Strength*For dilution from .3-1%

GHK Studies

The human copper-binding peptide GHK-Cu (glycyl-l-histidyl-l-lysine) is a small, naturally occurring tri-peptide present in human plasma that also can be released from tissues in case of an injury. Since its discovery in 1973, GHK-Cu established itself as a powerful protective and regenerative ingredient, which is currently widely used in skin and hair products [0].

Up-to-date, it is established that GHK-Cu is able to:

  • Tighten loose skin and reverse thinning of aged skin
  • Repair protective skin barrier proteins
  • Improve skin firmness, elasticity, and clarity
  • Reduce fine lines, depth of wrinkles, and improve structure of aged skin
  • Smooth rough skin
  • Reduce photodamage, mottled hyperpigmentation, skin spots and lesions
  • Improve overall skin appearance
  • Stimulate wound healing
  • Protect skin cells from UV radiation
  • Reduce inflammation and free radical damage
  • Increase hair growth and thickness, enlarge hair follicle size [0].

Facial studies

Copper peptide GHK-Cu is widely used in anti-aging cosmetics (INCI name: Copper tripeptide-1).[1] Several controlled facial studies confirmed anti-aging, firming and anti-wrinklea ctivity of copper peptide GHK-Cu.

Facial cream containing GHK-Cu and melatonin increased collagen in photoaged skin of 20 female volunteers, performing better than vitamin C and retinoic acid.[2] The study was not controlled for cream vehicle application alone without active ingredients.

A 12-week facial study on 67 women indicated that GHK-Cu cream applied twice daily improved aged skin appearance, increased thickness, reduced wrinkles and strongly stimulated dermal keratinocyte proliferation as determined by histological analysis of biopsies. The same study found copper peptide GHK-Cu to be non-toxic and non-irritating.[3]

Hair growth

Copper peptide GHK-Cu and its analogues were found to stimulate hair growth. In some circumstances, the efficiency of synthetic analog of GHK-Cu was similar to that of 5% minoxidil.[4] A commercial product GraftCyte was clinically proven to improve hair transplantation outcome.[35] Shown to promote collagen production, using copper peptides topically on the scalp will help strengthen already existing hair, while stimulating growth in areas that are lacking thickness.[6]

Anti-inflammatory activity

GHK peptide has anti-inflammatory properties but the mechanism remains unclear. GHK and its copper complexes decreased TNF-alpha-dependent IL-6 secretion in normal human dermal fibroblasts. Because of the anti-inflammatory properties, copper-peptides could replace corticosteroids or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in treatment of inflammatory skin conditions. They also can reduce UV-induced Erythema.[7]
